Board Member, Runs a scientific consulting business that assists scientists in the preparation of research grants and papers. Woody is excited to be able to work with Timberline on its important mission to enrich the lives of individuals with cognitive, emotional or physical challenges.
Board Member, Health, Science, Tech Ed (HSTE) Director of Summit High School. Karen has been in nursing sceince 1974 and comes from a long lineage of nurses and doctors. In addition to nursing, she enjoys kayaking,rafting, skiing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Board Member, Counselor with Building Hope Summit County and Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Stacy provides licensed counseling services to adolescents, adults and families in Summit County. She treats many different mental health issues through a person centered, family focused, humanistic approach, and her practice includes working with clients through the aging process, including facing the end of life and grief. Through this work, Stacy has created a grief and loss program to support Summit and surrounding communities. In addition, she teaches several courses at CMC, including "The Psychology of Death and Dying", "Human Sexuality" and "Human Growth & Development".
Board Member, Dillon Community Church Jude has been serving Dillon Community Church for sixteen years. She cares deeply for the Summit County community and the mission of Timberline Adult Day Program.
Board Member, President of Eagle-Summit Speech-Language Services, Inc. Sherri created a private practice in 1984 to establish services for all ages in the rural mountain setting of Summit County and neighboring communities. Collaboration with others and working to forge networks to offer access to therapies has been a driving force for her professional efforts. Involvement in early childhood, home care and hospice, local and regional schools, special education administration, and service provision for a K-12 setting has honed Sherri’s interest and passion to create resources for human potential. Currently, she serves on the Staying in Summit board and continues to work with individuals and their families to support optimal communication abilities and enhanced quality of life.
Board Member, Nancy has resided in Summit County for more than 43 years. She obtained her undergraduate degree in exercise physiology from CU Boulder and her graduate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Nancy has worked as a physical therapist in private practice specializing in infants and children with developmental delays and disabilities. In June of 2020 she retired from her physical therapy practice and is now enjoying traveling, skiing, hiking and horseback riding as well as other outdoor activities.
Gini joined Timberline in 2016, bringing over 36 years' experience in private practice and non-profit management. Her primary interest as a physical therapist since 1981 has been working with seniors, promoting their health and well-being. Gini is focused on providing exceptional programming, building capacity, increasing community partnerships ,and serving more families in need of respite care in Summit County.
Libby is a 1999 nursing graduate of from the Czech Republic and brings her caring nursing expertise to Timberline. She resides in Summit County with her husband and two children.
Annie earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas in 2017. She is excited about the opportunity to serve Summit county residents and families in a community based setting. Outside of work, you can find Annie on her mountain bike or skis, enjoying time outside with her fiancé and their border collie, Kevin.
Wendy graduated with honors in 2003 from Abington Memorial Hospital, Dixon School of Nursing with an RN degree in nursing. She has worked in an array of nursing positions, including Emergency Room, critical care, long-term care, and hospice. Wendy moved to Summit County in 2014, working with several local residents. She now enjoys working with our participant community at Timberline Adult Day Program.
Dani joined the Timberline team in 2019 to provide administrative support to our amazing team. She brings her varied experience in business, marketing, and education to the organization and is excited to be a member of our Timberline community. Dani has lived and worked in Frisco since 1995 and resides with her husband and Goldendoodle.
