Meet Terra Dickerson 

Meet Terra Dickerson! Terra has been a participant at Timberline Adult Day Program since she was 18 years old, and on January 24, 2020, she celebrated her 26th birthday! 

Terra lives in Breckenridge, Colorado with her parents and Collie dog, Stanley. She is the third of five kids, sandwiched between an older brother and sister and followed by two more brothers. They are all big sports fans, but Terra’s favorite sport is football and she follows the Denver Broncos very closely each season. When it’s not football season, Terra can be found enjoying a hockey game, Family Feud or an audiobook. 

She is a graduate of Summit High and spends her summers working at the Peak 8 Fun Park in Breckenridge. Summer is Terra’s favorite time of year. She loves being outside in the sunshine and it’s easier to maneuver her wheelchair without all the snow.  

Terra revealed that she enjoys attending Timberline because it gets her out of the house and into the community. Timberline provides her with opportunities to make crafts, practice flower arranging, reading with her favorite volunteer reading buddy, and especially socializing. Terra also enjoys her twice a week physical therapy with Gini, Timberline’s Director, to enhance her balance and mobility skills. In addition, Terra participates in Timberline’s monthly outings to the community rec center for swimming and loves her time in the pool.
